Human Resources Officer - Manning Support Services

What kind of opportunity is this? Full time

MSS has an opportunity for a full-time Human Resources Officer to join the Human Resources team based in Taree. This role is responsible for the coordination of human resource services, including but not limited to recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, human resources reporting, maintenance of employee records and personnel files and delegated HR projects.

Are there any mandatory requirements for the role?

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

- Certificate IV in Human Resources or equivalent qualification

- Demonstrated experience in a generalist Human Resources role

- Sound knowledge of employment-related legislation, interpretation of industrial instruments and their applications

- Demonstrated experience in end to end recruitment

- Demonstrated experience in disciplinary, grievance and misconduct matters and conducting workplace investigations

- Strong technology skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, web-based software and Human Resources Information Systems

- Experience in developing and delivering training to teams and individuals

- Well-developed written and reporting skills

- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and activities in a fast-paced and evolving environment

- Current NSW provisional or full drivers licence

- Vehicle with current NSW registration and minimum third party property damage insurance

- Willing to travel to all MSS sites
