Acknowledgment of Country

Taree Universities Campus acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, learn and work, the Gathang speaking peoples and pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

We recognise their continuing connection to lands, waters, and communities. We extend our respect to all knowledge holders and acknowledge their contributions both past and present. At TUC, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive organisation dedicated to the success of all aspiring regional students in going further with their education whilst staying close to home and on country.

Download Our Reconciliation Action Plan

Taree Universities Campus joins a network of more than 2,700 corporate, government, and not-for-profit organisations that have made a formal commitment to reconciliation through the RAP program.

This Reflect RAP enables Taree Universities Campus to deepen its understanding of its sphere of influence and the unique contribution it can make to lead progress across the five dimensions. Getting these first steps right will ensure the sustainability of future RAPs and reconciliation initiatives, and provide meaningful impact toward Australia’s reconciliation journey.
